The concrete thickness tester is a handheld, battery powered non-destructive testing system. Can be used for testing the thickness of concrete slabs, pavements, tunnel linings, walls, and other surface structures. The testing principle is the same as that of IE impact echo testing. This instrument has an easy-to-use menu. It is based on the principle of impact echo to measure the thickness of concrete. During actual measurement, the default concrete parameters built into the instrument can be directly used. CTG can be calibrated on a concrete slab with a known thickness (by drilling or coring) to obtain the wave velocity of the concrete to be tested, and then testing can begin. More than 60 CTG tests can be conducted per hour without drilling or excavating. Using Olson's concrete thickness defect tester can save time and costs.
